My little one is starting to talk and LOVES testing her abilities with flash cards.  At 17 months she’s not quite ready for the alphabet but I think she’ll sure learn the association quickly.  Check out these classic flash cards from Cavallini…

A very poignant comment from a dear friend! On the day we chose our store name, Tracy and her family were in the process of planting a couple of young Fig Trees which were fittingly named the “Ella” and “Gage” trees. We were giddy with thoughts of fig treats that could be created with the fruit of the new trees. Fig Tart, Fig Cookies, what else could we find? It was at that point we knew the store would be all about figs – well, sort of. Fig, Fig Tree, they were all good, but taken. Philip pulled out his trusty Brewer’s Dictionary of Phrase and Fable and “In Full Fig” was born. Brewer’s defines “In Full Fig” as “in full dress”, “dressed up” or “in full regalia”. It’s kind of a silly but perfect duo…figs and fashion. Earthy, funky, classic AND fashionable – In Full Fig.
