A very poignant comment from a dear friend! On the day we chose our store name, Tracy and her family were in the process of planting a couple of young Fig Trees which were fittingly named the “Ella” and “Gage” trees. We were giddy with thoughts of fig treats that could be created with the fruit of the new trees. Fig Tart, Fig Cookies, what else could we find? It was at that point we knew the store would be all about figs – well, sort of. Fig, Fig Tree, they were all good, but taken. Philip pulled out his trusty Brewer’s Dictionary of Phrase and Fable and “In Full Fig” was born. Brewer’s defines “In Full Fig” as “in full dress”, “dressed up” or “in full regalia”. It’s kind of a silly but perfect duo…figs and fashion. Earthy, funky, classic AND fashionable – In Full Fig.

Great site ladies! Its been amazing to watch this develop from the ground up. I get to see first hand just how hard both of you are working to make a tiny dream a huge reality.
I love the way “the fig” takes a little piece of each of you… slaps it into your product choice… swirls it through a coating of imagination and style, and produces an incredable shopping experience.
